Pardo Yachts has raised its range of motorized models to the first international level in a very short time. The Pardo 50 has become the great day cruiser of reference, with wide-open spaces and prioritizing comfort and clean design onboard over speed. Pardo benefits from the experience and know-how of the great Italian builder specializing in sailboats, Cantiere del Pardo.

The Pardo range currently has models of 38, 43, 50, and a new Endurance 60. The first unit was the 43, then came the 38, which recently obtained the EPY 2020 (European Power Boat of the Year) as the best boat within its segment, and finally, it is 50 feet. The latest Endurance 60 design will be presented shortly, an imposing daycruiser that will complete the Pardo Yachts collection.

The image of the Pardo 50 “Horizon” is impressive. Improving the offer in terms of design and quality, she can be defined as a formidable social boat, with numerous, wide spaces and a great capacity to offer the greatest comfort in all its areas. In the bow area —with the walkaround configuration and the solarium over the bow cabin—, in the center, mid-length, the helm station, and the dinette, and in the stern, the main solarium for sunbathing and the bath.

HYDRAULIC PLATFORM

The hydraulic platform, the large solarium occupying the entire stern, with folding backrests in the direction of travel, configure this sun and bath area. A little further forward the area is occupied by the main living space of this boat, a large U-shaped dinette with a table with deployable wings that can accommodate up to seven or eight people around it. Next to this space, the kitchen module, separated by a passage in the center, is protected by the T-top made of carbon, one of the key pieces of this boat that reinforce its attractive aesthetics.

COMFORT AND SPACIOUS DECK

The steps leading to the bow are wide enough and are perfectly protected. Here, the solarium, which occupies the upper part of the cabin, is completed with two opposite benches between which a removable table can be installed that is comfortably stowed in the anchor box. A strong point of this boat is the anchoring maneuver. It is totally hidden, and appears in the stem, with an inverted edge, by means of an advanced retractable brush system that works only with the electric windlass itself.

The creation of shady areas on this Pardo 50 “Horizon” is important. She has an electric awning that extends to the stern, and in the bow, you can mount a tent-type awning with carbon masts. Finally, under the surface of the aft solarium, there is a formidable garage.

INTERIORS

In a length like this, of more than 16 meters, it is normal that the volumes of the cabin are important, although it is a boat more designed for day navigation. Therefore, this allows us to obtain a greater benefit from the ship since the possibilities of habitability are more than enough to cover the needs of a weekend cruise program.

The first thing that stands out in the interiors of this Pardo 50 is its minivan space, in which the two cabins lack insulation. In the bow is the owner’s double bed – 2 × 1.6 m – with base cabinets on the port side, glove compartments under the lid on both sides and an enviable wardrobe closet, and the TV on the starboard side. It has excellent finishes, a top hatch, side portholes, and an optional partition bulkhead complete a warm atmosphere with good natural light. The owner has his own toilet, with a sink, electric freshwater toilet, and a large, totally separate shower. At the stern, to starboard, we have the second cabin, for guests, with two individual berths – 1.90 × 0.80 m -, a bedside table, a wardrobe, and a large space as a dressing room. A door leads to the toilet of this cabin, which also has another door to the common space for the rest of the people on board.

Very pleasant interiors, impeccable in the dug, with quality materials, inspired by the Italian design of the best taste, sober and functional, at the height of a boat of this category.

PERFORMANCE

The Pardo 50 sails well, it is a boat that shows her dimensions, it is powerful in front of the sea from the bow and at the same time, it is quite agile at the wheel, with a lot of nerve, far from being a sports car. It is clear that in this length the lines of the hull are essential to understand the philosophy of this model in which safety and comfort in navigation prevail over speed and acceleration performance. The pronounced V of the bow translates into a sharp hull that smoothly cuts through the wave and cushions kickbacks. A solid design that evolves towards the stern with a more open angle, with a good outlet of water, granting good directional stability and grip.

The extras are not included in the rent because they can be large and variable depending on what we have planned for our day by boat. The water toys are the most demanded, among them the seabob, very fun and safe. Other water toys can be a jetski, fly-board session, etc … You can also request a boat catering service, prepared cold food with its own ready-to-eat packaging, delivery of special drinks … a good option when we choose routes or coves in which there are no beach restaurants, or that do not have dingy service or which is very difficult to access by boat or simply do not want to wait for lines to get a table and enjoy more time of the hours we have rented the boat. This boat can apply an overnight supplement. Please check with us this detail during the booking process.
