Ibiza – Cala Pluma – Salinas – Punta Rama – Cala Jondal – Ibiza

What better route for Sunday than to end the afternoon at Blue Marlin Cala Jondal, one of the favorite fashion spots in Ibiza. If you have gone out on Saturday night, maybe on Sunday it will be a good plan to go sailing, relax in the sun on the deck with your favorite chill-out music, juices, fruit, salads, light snacks and regain strength.
This route Ibiza – Cala Jondal – Ibiza, with points of interest in Escavallet, Cala Pluma, Salinas and Punta Rama, consumes approximately. Between 2h 30 mins and 3h of motor usage.

The route starts from the port of Ibiza, surrounds Dalt Vila, with beautiful views of the old fortress and the neighborhood of La Marina, a picture postcard. Then go through Figueretas and Playa d’en Bossa until you reach Es Cavallet, where you can do anchoring if the wind is in your favor. On this beach you can find the restaurants: La Escollera, at the beginning of the beach, followed by El Chiringuito and more towards the end of the beach, passing the nudist zone, the Chiringay.

Ruta de Navegación Sundays Ibiza Blue Marlin

After Escavallet past the Punta de sa Tower of ses Portes, with the tower of Ses Portes, comes a small cove known as Cala Pluma, it is totally wild, without any kind of building or chiringuito. After Cala Pluma there are other coves all in the area known as Es Pouet de Sa Trinxa natural, wild, nudist, little crowded. Normally if the wind is not favorable in the area of Escavallet yes it is in this area of Es Pouet de Sa Trinxa and the beach of Las Salinas.

If we have set sail without having lunch, both Es Cavallet and Ses Salines offer us many options.

The first beach bar we found on our route to Blue Marlin on the beach of Ses Salines is Sa Trinxa, with a very good evening atmosphere. Other options are Jockey, Malibu and Guarana, which is the last of all.

Leaving behind the beach of Ses Salines, Punta de Sa Cova Larga and Punta des Canal de s’Olla, in what is Cabo Falcó, you will find Punta Rama. If the wind conditions permit it is an ideal place to anchor with stunning views of the cliff of Cap des Falcó. It can only be accessed by boat, so that you will enjoy an anchor in total exclusivity.

The cliff continues until the beach of Es Codolar begins, which opens with the Experimental Beach, an ideal place to have a cocktail or some mojitos and watch the sunset in Ibiza. It is the longest beach on the island, with pebbles, without sand on the outside, although it is inside the water.

It is so close to the airport that you can see the planes landing at an astonishing distance.

Between Es Codolar and Punta des Jondal, you will find Cala Jondal and Blue Marlin, there are countless coves, highlighting Sa Caleta, Es Bol Nou. We recommend the restaurant Sa Caleta, also well known for the café caleta, a special coffee recipe with brandy, rum, lemon, orange.

From Punta des Jondal, it is a cliff to reach Cala Jondal, with plenty of options to eat: Es Xarcu, Blue Marlin, Tropicana or Yemanjá. From Cala Jondal we will head back to the port of Ibiza.

The trick of this route is to choose the planning well before setting sail, in order to decide if it is better for you to leave earlier, type 10:30 with a return to port at 18: 30-19: 00h; or leave later, for example at 1:00 pm, well rested, and take advantage of the afternoon and return to port at 8:30 pm to 9:00 pm.

We recommend you leave the lunch issue solved, if you are going to eat on board and you yourselves organize to bring your food, fruit, and cold salads, or if you are going down to eat at a beach bar. For this it is important to decide what time you are going to eat and reserve. Depending on the reservation time of the restaurant you will decide how to trace this route, within the possibilities it offers.

That is, if nothing else embark you will go to the restaurant or if instead you have time for a previous funding. It is also important to control what time you finish eating and where to head to Blue Marlin and end the afternoon there, enjoying the atmosphere of the most popular beach club in Ibiza, with great music, DJs and the most unexpected people in their rooms.

If you want to enjoy more of Blue Marlin but the duration of your charter is over, you also have the option to disembark at Blue Marlin and have the ship return to port alone, with the captain or crew. You can always organize with your chauffeur service or with private taxis to take you from Blue Marlin to your hotel, villa or apartment. It is very important, if you choose this option, leave the fuel payment of the ship liquidated and collect all your belongings before disembarking in Blue Marlin. If you opt for this option you must comment at the time of boarding to coordinate everything and that the charter is a success.

It is important to make sure that the restaurants chosen to go down to eat have an active tender service to be able to pick you up from the ship and land on the shore. If not, you will depend on the dinghy / auxiliary of the ship. Not all boats take auxiliary boat and approaching the shore depends on the draft of the boat and the safety of the bottom, it is not the same a sandy bottom as rocky, because the boat could touch with the hull or with the propellers and suffered serious damage. In addition, in general, restaurants use larger and more capacious zodiacs than dinghys on boats, which tend to be smaller and more bulky to reach the shore.
